Terms of Service

By creating a Regal Nation account, submitting a release, or otherwise using the platform, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy and Content Policy, which form part of this agreement.

If you are entering into this agreement on behalf of a label, company or other legal entity, you confirm that you have authority to bind that entity.

You must be at least 16 years old, or have verifiable consent from a parent or guardian, to hold an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account.

Account information must be accurate and kept current. We may suspend accounts where we cannot verify identity or rights ownership.

Plans are billed annually in advance in United States dollars. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each term unless cancelled before the renewal date.

If a subscription lapses, releases already delivered remain live for the remainder of the paid term. We notify you at least 30 days before expiry.

Fees for optional artist services are quoted and charged separately from the subscription and are non-refundable once work has commenced.

You retain full ownership of your recordings, compositions, artwork and trade marks. Nothing in this agreement transfers any ownership interest to Regal Nation.

You grant Regal Nation a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to reproduce, distribute, transmit and make available your content solely for the purpose of delivering it to the stores and platforms you select, and to promote it in connection with that delivery.

You warrant that you own or control all rights necessary to distribute the content you submit, including any samples, interpolations, features and artwork.

All submissions are reviewed for technical quality, metadata accuracy and rights compliance before delivery. We may request changes or decline a release that does not meet platform requirements or our Content Policy.

Delivery timeframes are targets, not guarantees. Store-side processing, editorial review and platform outages are outside our control.

Royalties are credited to your account as platforms report and pay them, typically on a two to three month delay. Statements identify the platform, territory and reporting period for each line item.

Withdrawals are available once your available balance exceeds the minimum threshold shown in your dashboard. You are responsible for any taxes payable on amounts you receive.

Where you have configured collaborator splits, we pay each participant their stated share directly and your balance reflects only your own share.

You may not upload content you do not have the rights to, artificially inflate streaming activity, impersonate another artist, or submit content that infringes third-party rights or breaches our Content Policy.

Streaming fraud results in immediate takedown, forfeiture of affected royalties and permanent account termination. Platforms may also charge back amounts already paid.

You may request removal of any release at any time from your dashboard. Removal typically completes within 5 to 10 business days depending on the platform.

We may suspend or terminate accounts for breach of these terms, fraudulent activity, or where required by law or a distribution partner. Where possible we give notice and an opportunity to remedy.

The platform is provided on an 'as is' basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Regal Nation is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profits, or loss of anticipated revenue.

Our total aggregate liability in any 12-month period is limited to the subscription fees you paid to us in that period.

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes are notified by email and in-app at least 30 days before they take effect.

This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law rules.
