Distribution Agreement

You grant Regal Nation a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to encode, reproduce, distribute, transmit, publicly perform and make available the recordings and artwork you submit, solely through the stores and platforms you select in the release wizard.

The licence extends to creating the technical formats each platform requires and to using short excerpts, artwork and metadata for promotional purposes connected to the release.

Regal Nation acquires no ownership interest in your master recordings, underlying compositions, artwork, name or trade marks. You may licence the same recordings to other distributors or partners at any time.

The licence starts when you submit a release and continues until you request removal or your account terminates.

You may request takedown of any release at any time. We initiate removal within two business days and platforms typically complete it within 5 to 10 business days.

Royalties earned before removal completes remain payable to you on the normal reporting cycle.

You warrant that you own or control all rights in the submitted content, that all samples and interpolations are cleared, that all featured performers and producers have been credited and compensated as agreed, and that the content does not infringe the rights of any third party.

You agree to indemnify Regal Nation against claims, losses and reasonable legal costs arising from a breach of these warranties.

Where you do not supply your own, Regal Nation issues ISRC codes for each recording and a UPC for each release. These identifiers remain associated with the release if you later move to another distributor.

You are responsible for the accuracy of credits, songwriter information and publishing data. Inaccurate metadata is the most common cause of unmatched royalties.

Regal Nation credits your account with the net revenue received from each platform, less the royalty share stated in your plan. No additional per-store or per-stream deductions are applied.

Statements are made available in your dashboard as reports are imported, showing platform, territory, period, units and amount.

Where collaborator splits are configured on a track, each participant's share is credited directly to their own account balance.

Releases must comply with our Content Policy and with the individual requirements of each platform. We may decline or withdraw content that breaches these standards, is fraudulent, or exposes us to legal risk.

Neither party may assign this agreement without written consent, except that Regal Nation may assign it as part of a corporate reorganisation or sale of the business.

Changes to this agreement are notified at least 30 days in advance. Continuing to distribute after that period constitutes acceptance.
